When the real Q proofs start to flood into popular awareness do YOU want to be the spokesman the media come running to? No, so Flynn disavows now so he is clean when the SHTF. Plus it gets it all back in the news. WE KNOW he is a major player, of course, so this is only for the enemy, to tie them up in knots. Clinton gets arrested - Flynn shrugs and winks at the same time. Plausible deniability.
