When I heard he wanted to ban AR-15s, I wrote him off, even though he feigned support at the time for Trump.

Looking back, 2nd Amendment yet again functioned as the perfect political litmus test.

It works every time - if someone is against it, they are against you - as a rule.

It narrows down threats to individual liberty very quickly.
