I’m on my husbands account asking for prayers that the Lord will welcome him into his kingdom. He’s been a long time follower, didn’t dare to post much due to his military ties.
However, he’s just been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Approx 1 month to live… they say it’s from the chems he was exposed to in Iraq.
He’s unvaxxed, and is getting crappy care at the VA. I’m besides myself and don’t know what to do. He asked me to post a goodbye to you all. He highly admires you.
Thank you for reading. And if you pray, thank you for that.
Thank you all so much for the outpouring of support!!!!
We are definitely trying all alternatives, thank you for so much info!!. His dr said the same, Nothing to lose….
Fat and cholesterol from real foods are great. It is a dense source of energy and most of it is converted directly into energy- 80% of the cholesterol in your body is produced by your liver. Sugar is the primary cause of heart disease by signaling your liver to overproduce LDL and high glycemic foods like simple carbs and bleached wheat lower your production of LDL. You can eat basically anything as long as it’s not soaked in sugar or made with fake grains like glyphosate-sprayed bleached wheat. An extremely high fat diet can cause pancreas issues, but if you are eating simple foods that are easy to digest, that’s pretty difficult to do if you listen to your body.
Variety is not the spice of life. Spice is the spice of life. Invest in some good spices and enjoy the many wonderful flavors God gave us to enjoy!
My HDL is up 10 points and my LDL went down 149 points eating 70% fat ground beef (maybe once per week, I still don’t eat that much meat) and coconut oil in coffee instead of sugar and tons of dairy and cheese every day with plenty of avocado oil and olive oil in cooking. I maybe eat on average one slice of cake per week but try for as little added sugar as possible in everything (grocery shopping when making the change takes hours until you figure out what is good) - and we do a scratch homemade one and go all out using excellent ingredients (no fake sugars or sugar substitutes- your brain is made primarily of cholesterol and runs on glucose so you do need some sugar, if you eat only stevia or sucralose or other substitutes, you can sabotage your ability to digest and utilize real sugar because your brain recognizes sweetness through your tastebuds and these substances though useful will cause issues if overused).
I also increased my Vitamin D level from 20 to 65 by either getting an hour of sun every day or taking 10k IU D3/K2 with fats if I missed a day- Vitamins D, E, A, and K are fat soluble and must be taken with meals or at least a tbsp of butter or coconut oil to be properly absorbed. Same with a multivitamin if you take one.
I get this Organic Virgin Coconut Oil from Sams Club for $7.84. https://www.samsclub.com/p/members-mark-organic-virgin-coconut-oil-56oz/prod22041058
Just avoid the fake gmo food oils that require petroleum solvents to be made edible- Canola, Soybean, Corn, Safflower, Cottonseed, and a few others. As long as it’s cold-pressed and people have been eating it for longer than just the past 50 years or so, it’s probably food.
The crazy thing is that once you drop all the fake foods, you start to taste the sweetness and flavor in real foods dramatically more. Plain yogurt and milk both taste sweet to me now. And when trying some of the foods my wife and I used to eat, we find they have terrible tastes and aftertastes that we didn’t notice at the time. Soybean oil and Canola Oil in particular taste awful, I can’t believe I used to eat everything in those.
The Weston Price Foundation has great info on finding your diet. Eat what your ancestors ate- that will probably be a bit different than me and that’s wonderful! https://www.westonaprice.org/
Will get on it. I'm already grinding my own herbs and spices from some very good sources. That part had been so amazing especially this flu season. I have been making sure to take that cold pressed coconut oil with supplements or with meals.
That's badass. Yeah I had no direction so I ate nothing until I found out what Jesus and John the Baptist ate and when they did. So I just went off of that for a year now. Fasting, whole foods, olive oil, fish, figs, veggies, primal grains, locusts, dates
