Sounds like a cool game, but I don't play video games for fear that I would become addicted and waste my life away.
To your posted point, I am just blown away by the parallels to today, especially the obvious name Omikron. Kind of makes you wonder to what level of detail the enemy is orchestrating things, and who is fighting back. David Bowie... more than just a musician/artist?
Bowie had to be in the club to get as far as he did, and accumulate a vast fortune. Maybe, like Lennon, he saw the light and turned on the puppet masters?
LOL! I was talking only about myself. You do you. Just don't die for lack of sleep... (I am pretty sure you were being sarcastically funny, though... right?)
I got conquered, and myself and all my people got eaten by big sentient bugs. And right when the FDA and all the "influencers" are trying to convince us all to eat bugs.
After I get over this need to pout while huddled up in the corner, scared the big mean bugs are gonna find me irl, I'm gonna start another game and kill ALL the bugs.
The game is a lot like real life. You wander around the empty dystopian streets for a while not knowing what to do, then Sega discontinues the Dreamcast, you lose your job and power due to a recession, and then boom! The twin towers come down and you never play it again.
Well... At least that was my experience with the game.

Could be why he died young.
That addiction thing doesn't happen. And it's not wasted life anyway.
I'll finish this comment later. I have a game of Stellaris going. Galaxies don't conquer themselves, you know.
Shouldn't take me more than a few hundred more hours.
Then, maybe I'll try a game for few of Imperator: Rome, or maybe one of the HOI series.
I don't have a problem. You have a problem!
I can quit any time I want.

Funny?!!
I have half my planets in open rebellion, my alloy production has tanked and the Galactic Crysis is just kicking off!
There's lots of desperation. But there ain't even a drop of funny.
We're all gonna die!
Well, then, you better stop wasting time here and save those planets. Godspeed!
Irony of ironies.

Sounds like you lost your soul. Just kidding : )
He sold his soul a long time ago. "This isn't Rock and Roll, this is... Genocide!!!"
Sounds like reality to me.
It’s a greek letter. Ffs
It's only a Greek letter if you believe in coincidences.
