I understand your sentiment though I disagree in this case. I don't believe there was any malice or intent to poison the well, so to speak. That shit was floating around before I got back from my Thanksgiving break. People just need to stop believing every fucking meme and image macro they see. If they did that, shit wouldn't spread. I'm personally guilty, just not in this case.

Encourage people to be more proactive with information. It's more effective than being an asshole and shutting someone down completely.
