He did, and continues to do, a lot of work exposing corruption in his state and congressional district. He fully exposed voter fraud in the republican primary where he was a candidate, following up doggedly with public information requests, followed by subpoenas, etc. No, he didn't revive the economy for four years, or produce a bunch of peace accords, and in that he's small potatoes compared to Trump. But he earned his place in the discussions more than most.
