God‘s word is actually worth while reading, and gives you a relationship with your creator, and teaches you how to live life. There’s nothing to decode, there’s nothing to try and figure out, there’s just truth. Yes there are many theologians to discuss many things regarding God‘s word, but everything is plainly laid out how you should live your life, and how to gain salvation through Christ Jesus. The fundamentals are very basic. Even a child can understand them.
Q posts - are very cryptic, generic, and difficult to decipher. You have to do a huge dig - just to try and figure out one small piece of information. To be honest… There have been many people who spent year after year after year trying to figure out what Q is trying to reveal, but to no avail… People are still scratching their heads. To be honest… It’s a big mind game - and quite frankly I would rather spend my time reading God‘s word because that’s what will matter in the end.
When I stand before my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he’s not going to ask me how many Q posts I read. He’s going to want to know that I know HIM! Did I accept HIM! Did I follow his commandments, by loving God with all my heart, and loving my neighbor as myself.
If people spent as much time reading the Bible as They did reading Q posts - The world would be a much more beautiful place.
I’m not disregarding Q - but to compare the two, I mean comparing the studying of the Bible with studying Q posts it’s quite ridiculous indeed!
That isn't what is being compared. The Bible is the Word for Christians. The Q drops, in a similar manner, are the words for anons. Study the structure of analogies. The two relationships are being compared, not the two sides of the analogy.
Yes we have to spend endless, and I mean endless hours studying the Q posts, to get any real information from them. Why would I wanna waste my time doing that when I could actually be reading God’s word and becoming closer to him.??
I’m here because I somewhat believe That Q, could potentially be real. I mean how many coincidences until things are mathematically impossible?
But at the same time, I see a lot of people making posts with red yellow lines circling some thing and making note of something - I guess what you guys would call a dig. None of it makes any sense to me at all whatsoever, so I just MoveOn.
I think the real reason I’m here, is because there are Christians on this forum, and because here is where you’re going to find truth regarding what’s happening in the world. Being political, Covid related, etc.
I come here because for the most part, people here are kind, considerate, and are supportive to one another. A lot of the news postings I’ve breezed by, because who needs more black pilling.
What I like most about this community is when people post their personal stories, or ask for prayers. That’s when I engage more. I like to pray for people, and lift them up when they are feeling down. I’m here to try to spread God‘s love, and his healing powers.
Yes we do have a great group of people here. PDW is gone so downhill. So much hate. And someone keeps spamming the site with constant truecrime posts. I understand that somethings get posted once in a while, but there are several people that posted all day long. It’s just a Blackpill and a slide of the forum. Mods will do nothing because they are infiltrated!
As the biggest forum of its type, it gets the lion's share of the targeted shilling, of both the [paid by various DS factions] type, and the [ideologue with nothing else to fill their life] type.
You can do both. I have read through the Bible a number of times. I have one within reach all the time. Also, I haven't spent "endless hours studying the Q posts," as that would eliminate time for eating, sleeping, etc. There is a time for everything. I know you've read that somewhere.
Well I have an 81 yr old mom I help take care of and her house. My friend broke her back and I help her now too - so my plate is full! Anything important will be posted and discussed. I can join in then.
No real Christian has never read the bible. Anyone that has read the bible and knows its history should be asking all sorts of questions to how much of it has not been stepped on...or removed. Man has f*cked with this book for almost 2 centuries , changing things to suit their needs.
You reminded me of this video I saw last year and it took over an hour for me to find it again. It is a lecture regarding the reliability of new testament manuscripts.
I know its long but I hope you might take the time to watch it as I found it to be very interesting. (Yes, I watch 2 hour long lectures for fun, don't judge me 😜)
I appreciate the video. I listen to youtube videos all week long at work and will listen to this one on monday. I am guessing by the title this lecture is going along the lines of the 4 gospels and other writings prove each other. As in, different authors giving different accounts that agree. That is a good point for the gospels. Not foolproof because that could always have been done for that reason...but a good start. Thanks again.
More than once, but attempting to guide a church, especially Baptist, to take the meat of the Word is a frustrating undertaking. They are salvation message bound and the blowback to "heavy" food can be interesting. It's one of the reasons why Freemasons control entire Baptist churches... No spiritual discernment, no understanding.
As for Q drops, my family started reading from October 2017 when there was yet confusion about some implied things (arrests) and that wonderful evening when Lynn de Rothschild was informed that they could hear her breathing. "WATCH THE WATER."
That is a legitimate concern. Even ignoring entire books being edited in/out over the centuries, just the language complexities alone are a maze.
I'm bilingual and see every day how translations are necessarily distorted, just by the underlying structural differences between languages. Even when the translator is doing their level best to keep distortions to a minimum, you still have to make subjective judgement calls in every sentence.
(Machine translation is like a petri dish for seeing what translations without common sense can turn out like.)
Add to the mix that it's usually a dead language you're wrangling, with the entrenched politics inherent in an organized religion, and good luck with that.
I began to read the Bible for the first time cover to cover in January 2018, and Christ saved me. That summer, I was led by a fellow Christian to the Q drops. It was providence. I've completely read the Bible about 4 more times. I read the Q drops from the beginning and then experienced the rest in live time. God wins.
The OP's concern is legit. The Q drops are hardly a light read, especially when not reading them as news items occur in real time like we did back in the day, but it would clarify a lot of arguments if people would actually familiarize themselves with the source material this entire community is theoretically about.
"Is JFK Jr alive?" "No." is not a complex exchange, but you do have to actually read it to know that it's been said.
I don't think one needs to "read the entire bible" to have a relationship with God. Or was that the 11th commandment? Thou shalt read the entire bible cover to cover.
Apples and oranges.

have you read the section of the Bible referred to as the Q-Source? a lot of similarities with the Q drops...

"Unvalidated"? I don't think so. Read up on the Q proofs.
The Q posts are words for anons. They are not words for anyone else, except to possibly mislead the DS criminals.
Yes we have to spend endless, and I mean endless hours studying the Q posts, to get any real information from them. Why would I wanna waste my time doing that when I could actually be reading God’s word and becoming closer to him.??
then why are you here? we study they Q drops, it's a Q forum🕵♀️

fair enough, makes sense that you like the camaraderie and information. we really do have a good group of people here.

Well I’m happy for you that you can do both. I’m glad that that works for you. God bless you
You can do both as well. Just try.

BINGO
I always get bogged down in Numbers
I see what you did there
I do too ;)
An entire post in the form of a pissing contest.
Classy people do classy things.
Or....
You claim to be an American Patriot, but you've never read the US Constitution from beginning to end?
Bonus points for the Federalist Papers.
I've read it countless times and carry a copy in my pocket.
This.

The only good translation is a dead translation.

I’m going to keep reading the Bible

There is a difference when talking to christian who has read the bible, and one who never has. Same goes for posters on this board.

Oh, so the value of one's faith is measured by their works? Am I interpreting this correctly?
no you are not
