The last time we saw this massive sell-off and a "crash" was back when their November payments were due.
Plausible. China's had the monopoly on ASIC miners for years with companies like bitmain. They have to have a large cache of multiple cryptocurrencies.
If China is the major holder of crypto and is selling this artificial and completely non-real resource to cover other debt obligations, anyone buying it up and holding it is going to be left with a giant bag of dogshit in their hands.

Crypto gains have afforded me 2 safes worth of precious metals and a healthy investment into GME/DWAC/AMC as a fiat geyser/moonshot opportunity.

Well, we dropped back to prices we have not seen since… 6 weeks ago.
A few 30%+ pull backs happen during crypto bull markets.
Google a video where the guy says… “this one time bitcoin” crashed like 4 or 5 times. Each “crash” was at a significantly higher level than the prior ones.
Take a longer term look at crypto prices. (I’m not taking about meme coins like Doge.)

The interesting and telling piece of all this, is that it's not just one coin but all of the top 20 coins all crashing simultaneously and roughly at a ratio. It's as if the DS is one massive hedge fund with trillions of dollars in a crypto ETF spread out proportionally amongst the top coins. They just do a flat 20% sell of all their coins and boom, market wide flash crash.
But it also means someone was buying….
Institutions just liquidated a shit load of longs but it has good support above 46. The amount of BTC going into exchanges is slowing so I don't believe this is hodlers panic selling, the real panic is boomers selling every stock related to Elon.
