I keep reading how freemasons are evil and do horrible things. Yet I grew up with masons. I'm not evil, nor do I do horrible things. So, being new, and open minded. I would like to have a civilized discussion about the freemasons! And remember. I come from family members whom are passed now, but, were. Masons. I'm open to here. Thank you.

This can be said about any religion/congregation anywhere. Take care of their fold before helping others
No, it does not. For example if a Christian Judge shows a consistent bias to a Christian plaintiff/defendant in his courtroom, then he will face disciplinary action for that. Same with any religion/congregation in an setting of authority.
Yes, take care of your fold first ony our personal time, not in your professional capacity. That is the crucial difference. This is also the reason why these orgs need to be secret societies.
Sure--like anything we ever did growing up, was thru fellow members--dentist, doctor, eye doctor, lawn care, construction, appliances Every thing was thru fellow parishioners, and you got hard side-eyes for using anybody outside of the religion. You don't notice it until you are out and awake
Very interesting to hear this. I think we need more people experienced in freemasonry at different levels to come out and talk frankly like this for people to fully understand how it worked. Thanks for sharing.
