We live in a place with an older power grid that seems to go down every time there is a slight breeze. After several years in a row of bad storms, everyone now has their own generator and we have them ready to go at all times. So there is not a single person out here (deep blue state), who is dumb enough to rely on electricity. If they do get a Tesla, they always have a back-up SUV for when they need to bug-out.
I hope to never have an electric car. On the other hand, I wouldn't die from the heat. The stupid people could just open the car door and step outside.
Dude, the AC uses about 1kW of power. Even a small city car typically has at least 40-60 kWh of capacity, so you'd be able to run the AC on full blast for at least 30 hours.
Electric vehicles are a logical supplement to the ones we have now. They can never replace them. Same with wind turbines and solar farms. Supplemental.
I laughed pretty hard when the electricity blackouts happened in CA and nobody could travel because their batteries were dead
They aren't going to let you own a car later, so not relevant.

Greta: herd thinning? or atleast that's what they tell me .
This is dumb, ICE vehicles are not free energy devices and running the AC requires gas and gas will run out just the same as a battery.
I think the point was that gasoline can be replenished quickly.

"Yay! Lots of useless eaters dead! Carbon footprints have returned to zero."

They will all explode!!!! That’s answer
Looks like a scene from the walking dead
That's what they want. 7 billion dead people.
I always have a 5 gallon can of electicity al the ready
Let them die
Somehow that’s racist. I don’t know how exactly . But somehow it’s gotta be.
SOlution? solar powered Tesla superchargers.
last time i looked the electric semi trucks need a crane to put them onto a flatbed truck if they needed a tow.
That'll block and entire highway or road for a couple hours.
Theres another one of these going around describing weather conditions, people will end up freezing to death in their cars in some places
All part of the plan.
Being being stranded and dying is a feature, not a bug.
