COVID Outbreak On US Cruise Ship Despite Fully Vaxxed Passengers

We've been checking every so often about maybe doing a cruise since the port is only ~ 45 minutes away, but the rules for Pure Bloods are just too onerous - and too risky.
Waiting for this stuff to end......
But they won't get any of our $$$$s until they end this vax / mask crap. Their loss.
An excellent idea: This way we can observe a closed system. Also: A retired captain in my street refers to cruise ships as coffin hotels.
Well, on our first cruise (Princess) about 30 years ago for our belated honeymoon trip, they wheeled a very elderly gentleman on a gurney up the ramp covered with a plastic oxygen tent. Almost every passenger on the ship was in their 50's +. There was only one other couple on the trip in their 20's - we were seated with them at dinner.
Mrs Lenguado asked what he would do on the ship, and I morbidly joked that he was on the cruise for a Burial At Sea. We never saw him again. So don't know....
OK that is a gruesome story.
First cruise came home with a mild flu, husband too, but I met the lady who supposedly recorded the Coke song "I'd Like to Teach The World to Sing." Second cruise we had to make an extra stop to let off a passenger who needed to go to hospital in Mexico. Saw Burton and Taylor's love nest homes connected by pink Bridge of Sighs where they would kiss and make up after a fight. (Burton filming Night of the Iguana.) Third cruise saw Key West, ate original sloppy joe's at Hemingway's favorite bar. Fourth cruise came home with terrible case of whooping cough. Husband, too. Treated with antibiotic injections. Cleared up in 3 days. Fifth cruise came home with possible long lasting Covid latter half of 2019. Sixth cruise intended for 2020 was cancelled by you know the thing.
No 7th cruise. Don't wanna get sick from cooped up with the vaccinated. What if those ships start experiencing a lot of dropping dead? Coffin hotel for sure.
Never had any problems from any cruises. (Not saying your experiences are not true, just never had any issues.)
But good point about being cooped up with a bunch of highly infectious jabbed folks. Might not be good for Pure Bloods!
