I live in NB. I called the Sobeys, Superstore and Costco in my city this morning, and talked ( asked for them ) to the managers of each.
Sobeys said no, they're not doing it. Superstore and Costco said no, and both the managers here said they're sure not allowing Canadians to buy food is illegal - which is good they said that.
Superstore manager says he won't do it period. "Un Canadian to deny Canadians the right to eat" where his exact words.
If we go to level 3 and the gov't recommends the grocery stores do this, it is STILL up to each store to make their own choice. I can't really see it happening, but you CAN still do curb pick up if it happens. Sobeys has been doing parcel pickup since inception.
Seeing our provincial gov't here in NB go back and forth and back and forth is waking up lots here. I'm seeing shit on my socials from people that I NEVER would have ever thought felt the same sentiments as us. Red pill bombs every day from these folks.
