I think that moderately advocating for something that was released under your tutelage that you have to advocate for is fairly neutral. Pushes just as much as needed, while maintaining that there are alternatives and it isn't mandatory. Bidens mandate is getting struck down in the courts.
It's really frustrating how bad AU and UK are right now. I too feel massive annoyance and rage over injustices. But they never really had freedom in the first place like we did. You could already go to jail for being a politically incorrect meanie on the internet before covid.
What if going from half freedom to none is the only way to wake up other anglo normies? Kind of like a canary in a coal mine to any country not totally lost yet.
I've been lucky so far. I live in Japan and aside from that two month "stay home" crap during the spring of last year, my country has not made any mandates (so far) and there is the sentiment to accommodate those who choose to remain purebloods. My contract renews in April and I pray there will be no mandates for teachers. Unfortunately, nearly all of the teachers in my schools have taken the clot shots. My wife is the only unvaxxed teacher at her school. I have a 12 year old boy who was pissing blood and had the telltale horrible blood blister rash and was gone for a month, and then now he's been hospitalized this past week with a blood clot in his leg. I told his homeroom teacher that it's from the vax, but these Japanese teachers are sheep. Last week at a school I don't work at often I noticed one boy with the shakes. These sheep will have to learn their lesson the hard way, but at least it seems I will keep my job.
The one good thing about all of this is how so many people are now aware of the dangers of vaccines. When I was a 4 year old kid in the '70s, there was no internet back then, so when the doctor told her that my reaction to the tetanus shot was just a fluke, she didn't have access to a worldwide system of information and interactivity. Assuming Trump comes back to replace Biden and somehow this vaccine parade continues though, I might have to side with the REAL conspiracy theorists who have said that Trump is nothing but a distraction. I am not banking on that (that's why I'm here), but I am getting rather agitated and impatient. Especially seeing police abducting children from their parents in other countries. This is horrible.
Before covid I didn't want kids, and didn't care about vaxs. Now I want a fucking farm of unvaxxed kids watching damn Infowars when this is all through.
I'm actually very familiar with Japan. While they are sane, kind, and efficient people, they are not free thinking, masculine, or dangerous to any establishment. Glad to hear it is fairly normal there. Better than coastal cities here.
Kids are awesome. Before kids, you fear having to change your life to adapt. Then when they're born, you hate the idea of life without them. My wife and I were only able to have one, and a second one died after only 4 weeks of pregnancy.
As for a lack of masculinity in Japan, you are very right. This Johnny's Jr. crap has gotten out of hand, with those pretty boys with zero facial hair, acting very effeminate. They used to dress like it was Easter Sunday, but now they just wear pink all the time and stand to close to each other. This year China has forbidden such chumps from TV because they're sick of it. They've accused Johnny's of being fabricated by the CIA to destroy masculinity and for once I agree with China. That Johnny guy was from America originally and I wouldn't doubt it if he was a CIA operative intended to ruin masculinity of Japanese men.
China, eastern Europe, parts of south america/USA, and Africa are the only places on the planet that actually value masculinity right now.
I bet those ladyboys in japan are just emulating all those k-pop plastic surgery stars in S Korea.
Being technologically advanced, and not valuing masculinity or femininity, and not allowing immigration, means Japan's population is really going to plummet soon.
I actually want to live there some day, I might save your username in case. I've traveled there, and I have friends there, and I'm learning the spoken language (learning the 3 alphabets will be difficult though).
I really hope Japan doesn't get much worse, because anime is one of my only refuges of less woke media outside of 90's/early 2000s shows.
