Clove oil, on some rolled up gauze let it rest in the back or even a whole clove let it sit (Don’t let him put dirty fingers in his mouth) Try to get it checked out even if it’s crossing state lines. Also Orajel sells a pain relieving mouth wash. Orajel Alcohol-Free Antiseptic Mouth Sore Rinse,
Mine really needs to come out as well and acts up every few months. Hopefully it will subside in a few days with this treatment like mine did and he will be okay for a few more months.
Ya I know. When I had the problem years ago, it would try to come in and hurt badly for I don't know a week or so I think and then ease off for maybe a few months and then I'd go through the pain again. I'm hoping I can get him through this and it'll ease up for a few months and this crazyness will be over then we can get it taken out. If not, I'm afraid we will have to pull the molar it is pushing up against so it can come in. I am praying it doesn't come to that. Can't leave the country without a shot.
It's an Indian practice called oil pulling which has given me relief. If you only have whole cloves there's a cool tea you can make (leaves from 2 sprigs rosemary and 3 or 4 cloves, boil for 5min w/lid on, remove leaves and cloves).
I had almost the same problem years ago. I found listerine the best local pain relief. I tried vodka (I never drink) but found the listerine equally effective and more tolerable.
BUT, the problem was actually infection. I went to the dentist and he wouldn’t pull the tooth until the infection went away. He prescribed antibiotics and within 24 hours of my first dose, the pain was gone. I still had the wisdom tooth pulled, but it was nbd once the infection was gone.
If you don’t have any appropriate antibiotics at your house, you should perhaps consider how unfair it is you can buy without a prescription the exact same antibiotics for your fish that a human takes, but you can’t buy them legally for a human. Crazy, right?
I have no idea what antibiotic would be best if my poor fish’s jaw started hurting.
I’d have to Google it. Once you know though, any pet store online or local ought to have it.
honestly, when that happens to me I drink ice water, and let it settle back by the tooth until it's done being cold. The sharpness of the cold eventually calms the tooth pain down if I repeat it over and over again. That, and ibuprofen & excedrin together. But I don't know how old he is? Excedrin in young kids is no bueno.
If there is any infection use a drop of tea tree oil on a cotton swab and rub it on the area. It's antimicrobial/antibiotic. The bottle will say not to use it internally, but I put it under my tongue when I have infections. I've also put a drop in water and drank it.
Clove will numb it and possibly help with the swelling.
Hopefully I have some, I'll check. Thank you.

That's what I'm hoping for as well, that it will ease off soon. I will look for Orajel mouth wash tomorrow, thank you.
thank you.
Listerine is very harsh and can make the area more sore. If you can’t find the Orajel Mouth wash try to find a chlorehexdrine mouth wash
kk
Thank you.

I would not recommend pulling a wisdom tooth on your own. Even if it’s erupted. Likely you would need sutures.
He needs a non woke orthodontist.
Have you considered traveling to find an establishment that doesn't require the shot?
None here. Canada.
Does he have a passport? Can you take a short vacation to Florida?
Wow I soooo wish we could! No one can fly from here without having the shot.
Not allowed out of the country, by land or air without the shot. We'd have to try to sneak across somehow.
Get some cocaine and hookers. Give them to a dentist and have it removed.
Clove oil and you could try rinsing/gargling with a teaspoon of coconut oil.
We do have coconut oil we can try.

Couldn't I let on I have fish? What's the name of the antibiotics?

There will, no doubt, be a dentist in your area that will see him without being jabbed.
Call every office within driving distance first thing in the morning.
In the meantime, put ice packs on his jaw where the pain is radiating from. The cold ice will numb the pain.
Ice all night if you have to and don’t put too thick of a cloth between his skin and the ice pack... it has to be cold enough to numb the pain.
I will try an ice pack thank you.
Agreed. I'm not vaxxed and my dentist has never asked. I've had no problems being seen.
Are you in Canada?
I've also heard that 2 drops of myrrh oil mixed with a table spoon of coconut oil swished around the mouth can be soothing.
OK will try. I'm writing this stuff down and will get what I can tomorrow and try all of it. Thank you.
If there's an infection, maybe try a dilution of hydrogen peroxide and water. Not going to hurt anything, anyway.

Not a young kid. Thank you. We will try this.
Yw. Hope it works!
Yes to clove oil soaked in cotton but also Ora-Gel works to numb the pain.
So to be clear, you have to be vaccinated to have oral surgery done in Canada?
Chloraseptic spray. Will pray for him.
Live in Canada so can't get it pulled.. There is a natural med store though. I'll have to see if they have cammillia there tomorrow. Thanks.
