I am sorry but I disagree with you. First of all rest doesn't equate with the amount of melatonin in your body even though melatonin levels contribute to good, deep sleep. Secondly, MANY people have said covid was nothing, one dose of ivermectin did the trick, etc. so "covid is barely a thing" CAN be true. That isn't the reality for everyone. Most of my family have had covid and we all had it differently. It was NOT barely a thing even for the ones in their thirties. We all followed the I-MASK protocol and it took at least 11/2 weeks to get over it. For some it was longer if they ignored symptoms and didn't start early treatment or didn't aggressively follow the treatment protocol. I am 70 and it took 2 weeks to totally be done with it and I think overall I fared pretty well. I took many other supplemental natural treatments to help get over it but it took a lot to get to the point of conquering covid. Yeah, I get it doesn't exist but we all had one heck of a flu.
This is a good post. We know the response to covid was entirely overblown and unnecessary. There is also debate whether it even exists or not. However, there are people that are getting sick from something and good treatment protocols exist, but it only works if people attend to their sickness early and aggressively. We shouldn't deny or ignore reality. It is better for us to use and share our knowledge to manage the sickness so we get fewer hospitalizations and prolonged illnesses - especially in the unvaccinated - in order to change the narrative.
It took me four weeks under the I-Mask protocol. But I was unable to get the ivermectin til day 14. Which meant I was already past the live virus and in one of the many dead virus cytokine storms. Two days after I got the ivermectin, there was an amazing noticeable improvement in my health.
My DO recently put me on it. I had not known that it has many benefits other than promoting sleep. It never worked for me for sleep, so I had given up on it.
I’m not sure that over use of melatonin is an entirely good thing. I do believe more research is needed. It all depends on if your body stops making melatonin if you over supplement oneself with the over the counter melatonin. I’m not 💯 but I do think more research is needed.
Basically if you get plenty of rest (melatonin) and have enough vitamin D, Covid is barely a thing.

Yeah I’ve had Covid too. I took ivermectin, melatonin, vitamin D, zinc etc
It was not too bad for my wife and I but it did drag on for nearly two weeks.
I didn’t take any days off of work, but generally felt bad at night, and decent during the day.

Not expensive either.

Two “Mels” two hours before bed👍👍
Started taking this recently AFTER I read about the better time release stuff...
Better Sleep it gives you, doesn't make you sleepy. No groggy wake up either, normal wake up, worth it to me...
