I rejected many of the belief systems I was raised with as a teenager, and reformed my own belief sets in my mid-20's. Even though I was raised in a religious home (and turned away from in my college years), what has resulted is a more faithful/religious God-centric worldview. A view that the world we see is but a tiny fragment of a cosmic battle of good vs. evil. I realize that we all have eternal souls, and what happens in this life is only important to the extent that it leads to your salvation. In the view of eternity, any temporal cares are irrelevant.
