We can’t afford houses, we can’t afford nice cars, nice vacations, etc. I’ve been working my ass off all year, and a 3 day vacation basically bankrupted me. There’s no time for fun when life is steamrolling you, and now inflation is greasing the ground you’re running on.
It all just seems so fake, so pointless. It’s no wonder people are just giving up. Watching my parents take 0 days off for decades and still not have enough to retire in their late 50s… it’s just rough.

Gen Z is more based than you give credit for. It's the second half of the millennial generation that are the issue, if you will.
