It's because the info coming out is being spread by multiple websites and the ones late on it still want the clicks by the sensational titles. For copyright purposes though they have to include the source which is found somewhere in the article and is always dated.
This is an action brought by "The Indian Bar Association" - that entity is an activist law firm and they have brought several suits similar to this. But they have no legal standing. They are not a government entity, they are just drawing attention to these issues by filing these lawsuits. This is the third time we have seen actions like this by The Indian Bar Association reported on this board.
