Good evening researchers, I have had a cold lately, so I decided to test out some of the Ivermectin I have in stock (Ivermax and Eqvalan). Ivermax is the apple-flavored transparent gel that has a horrible aftertaste, and Eqvalan is the bitter tasting white paste.
While having a sore throat and running nose for 3 days, I had taken Ivermax every morning (adjusted 2/3rd of my weight), I noticed that it was not very effective in dealing with my symptoms, although I didn't feel like I was completely sick (no headache, no tiredness).
On the fourth day, I decided to take Eqvalan (1/3rd of my weight) with my mother and noticed that my sore throat felt much better and I felt less mucus overall. On my fifth day (today) I took Eqvalan again, and I feel almost completely normal now.
What I want to know is, what is your experience if you have either of these brands of Ivermectin, has anyone taken a particular brand of Ivermectin and felt significantly better within hours? Or has your brand of Ivermectin not been too effective at all?
I do not believe there is any difference as far as the active ingredient between these brands is concerned. It is a pretty cheap drug to produce and it has been off patent for over 25 years. The only thing that will differ is the inactive compounds added - like any generic drug. Ivermectin does not treat symptoms. There are other meds for symptoms that are available OTC that can be used if you wish. The symptoms are a result of the body's immune response to the infection and can vary between individuals. As far as the antiviral effects of Ivermectin or HCQ are concerned, they work at inhibiting the viral replication process. The infection still needs to run its course until the body can clear the infection. Supplements and alternative therapies can help in the process.
Therefore, the sooner the drugs gets onboard at the first sign of symptoms, the better able the drugs will work at pushing back the infection. The Ivermectin should lessen the severity of symptoms over the course of the illness depending when it is thrown into the mix. Make sure to add zinc because that is what really does the magic in hindering a cold or the flu. Both drugs act as zinc ionophores to drive zinc into the cell. Zinc in the cell helps to stop viral replication so there needs to be sufficient amounts of zinc onboard for the drugs to work as far as that particular mechanism of action is concerned. However, Ivermectin does have other mechanisms that are useful in fighting illness, such as immune modulation that can lessen those nasty symptoms. High dose Vitamin C is also a must. Everything needs to synergize to get optimal effect. Ivermectin alone is not enough to get the job done.
Dosing is critical and one of the biggest problems with the paste is underdosing. The recommendations for treating Covid can vary from 0.4mg to 0.6mg per kg of body weight for five days. For prophylaxis that range is about 0.2mg at least once a week. For the paste, there are 113.7mg per tube. So, it is just a matter of doing the math. I hope this helps. Feel better fren.
Thanks. I have actually used Zinc and Vitamin C as recommended, I never really felt terrible apart from a sore throat.
My voice still sounds like I'm sick, but I feel quite good right now.
Good to hear you are better. Thanks for the post. The information helps others when they read about real experiences. Blessings.
