The Marines controlled under the COG Plan, yes. On the National Guard (NG), each State has control of their own NG command up to a point. Then the Feds I believe have 1500-2000 on Standby for DC, and I’m not sure the amount they can control nation wide, besides requesting control of each State’s commands. I do know the Feds have a certain amount of NG they can use for border defense, but it also may depend on how many each State lends. And another Anon please add on to or correct me where I’m wrong.
