There was a Law and Order SVU episode where they caught this slimey, Kevin Spacey type pedophile. As they're interrogating him he's just over confident, not a answering anything, basically acting like he knows something that the police don't. He says, "I'm going to walk out of here, and there's nothing you can do about it."

End of the episode, some men in black suits come and take him away, no handcuffs. He's walking free. He's all smiles the whole time.

The lady (I forget her name) is obviously disgusted and upset, but her boss says there's nothing they can do: it's above their pay grade.

I know Law and Order bases most episodes off real life cases. And apparently whatever they based it off of was small potatoes compared to a BATHTUB FULL OF EVIDENCE.

The agency should feel disgusted they are enabling this.
