Well my triple vaxxed elderly father had a cold of some kind the week before Thanksgiving. He kindly passed it on to me (unvaxxed).
I am on day 19 of symptom onset. I was on the Zelenko prophylaxis treatment beforehand and ramped it up for over 45 and sick protocol.
There have been a lot of ups and downs with this. One day I feel like I’m coming out of a fog, and the next I am so exhausted walking to my front door I just want to sleep where I’m at…which I have, on the stairs, because it was easier than having to walk 50 feet.
My dr won’t see me in office until I am Covid negative. I went to urgent care to see if I had a secondary infection and it started to turn into pneumonia. I got another Rx for a Z-Pack.
I’ve got to say I’ve been sicker before in my life, but this is the strangest, longest cold I’ve ever had. No temp over 99, and only for a day or two at the start. My O2 has been 96-99 but I’ve felt crazy out of breath. I don’t know if it’s because I have massive sinus congestion or what. But my heart rate has been insane and it’s finally mellowing out.
I considered the antibody treatment, but I was feeling better right at the cutoff.
I know the Zelenko treatment helped. There was a day I forgot to take my meds and it was literally my worst day. Next morning, back on them and by the end of the day, not great, but better than the day before.
My husband is 4 days behind me. But our two teenage kids, not even a sniffle or a cough, thankfully.
Never once did I think I needed to go to the hospital, but we were prepared. Thankfully my sister, who had it in August, has helped me through this. And my 80 year old dad? Same as me. He’s a week ahead of me and finally feeling able to start life again (and he’s an active, healthy guy).
So call this Covid, or don’t. All I know is some people get hit harder than others with a virus. And there is some nasty stuff out there.
Seriously, i think thats shedding. Awhile back i thought i was dying. Right after my honeymoon i stayed at my vaxxed brothers house the next 3 months were torture. I went an got 3 ekgs, i had a long list of nasty symptoms such as fatigue, heart racing ect. Although i never tested positive for the coof. Now that i got it, id say its far more mild than that experience, yet pretty rough none the less.

Interesting. I will say when we first started being around more vaxxed people, I noticed I felt so horribly bad after only a couple of hours.
