We were out on the weekend and my best friend (normie) admitted that the vaccine is not a vaccine and it is more like a flu shot. She also said she is now 100% against vaccine mandates of any kind.
She also said she thinks the vaccines are not totally safe, although she still believes they are worth the risk. So she's wrong about that but everything is changing fast. One month ago she thought I was a nutjob and that the mRNA vaccines were equivalent to the Polio vaccine.
Your Dad will probably be fine. IMHO, Odds are about 1 in 500 of having a bad time, and only a 1 in 19,000 of dying. Not great but much better Russian Roulette.

We will see what effect the vaccine has on fertility, but I don't think the vaccine will directly kill 1/3 of mankind.
She's not wrong. The polio vaccine killed a bunch of people and coincided with a decline in cases, which were speculated to be herd immunity.
