I got outstanding, life changing, Principle Affirming news today.
I got my pre-covid career back, along with the 6 figure salary plus a raise, the benis, and the wonderful team of co-workers. I made it. I held out and refused to get Vaxxed, bleeding cash for 18 months, but I made it and my old employer is re-opening.
Im in a state of relief and joy, and Im going to share the love right here on GA tonight
Fair Warning.
****I got great news, and I want as many of you as possible to taste what Im feeling. We may be awake, but we are fragile imperfect humans, so I am making an attempt to share some joy tonight. If you liked this attempt to spread a little joy, in this confusing and evil world we are trying to survive in right now, I have been dropping many like this tonight. I mean for these to be gifts, hugs, a round or beers, etc. Just click my name, then click posts, and youll find some hopefully uplifting music. Love you.
Business is in Austin TX. That pretty much 'splains it yeah? LOL!
June of '20, the boss gathered us all together and promised to rehire us all if there was any way possible, and if it cost him every penny he had, and that he would understand if we couldnt come back. 26/31 are coming back.
I moved home to the Ozarks to survive the lock downs and bullshit with my fellow hard nosed show-me state hillbillies. It was the right move. Low CoL and I havent seen a local in a mask in 10-12 months.
Omg yes, explains it all. We went to Austin for one of those race car driving experiences last year and it was NUTs. Not even Dallas was as covidiotic as Austin. Tried to go to some stores and they were all closed. Went to one store and was told only 3 people Allowed in the store and must wear a mask by some young soy type chippie who was squirting hand sanitizer in her palms as she told us ‘the rules’. We said no thanks and left. They were absolutely crazy. Abbott was a major failure twinging that bs in.
You nailed it. What a perfect place for a peaceful warrior like me.
The suburbs are still fukking TEXAS though.
I wish I had rural friends. You're blessed.
