Thanks, me too. They’re teasing that we could get power tonight or tomorrow. I have the griddle too but I can pull it off and use my frying pan, which I did and made sausage and eggs to go with the biscuits.
Praying for y'all and yes, lol, you do learn new skills.
We've went through Hurricane Ida - August 29th. Luckily, we had a generator but others in our area were w/out power for 3 weeks. Internet took about 6 weeks - we used our hotspot in the mean time.
Some of the areas hit hardest are still without power or drinking water -108 days
We have 1 Generac 6500 that we’re using and a smaller one we use at my sister in laws next door to keep her fridge and freezer running. My husband plugged ours into the house for some basic stuff and to charge the water heater so we can at least take a shower. But we turn that breaker off once we have enough for showers.

What time is dinner? I don't want to be late. ;-)
Lol. Sorry, it’s enough dinner for 2 in about 7 minutes.
Well it’ll take longer than 7 minutes for me and the other guy to swing down there. Will there be country style gravy?
TBH, I kinda like no power days, and multiple days, from time to time
Yea but not when it’s less than 2 weeks till Christmas. I have lots of Christmas treats to make for lots of people.
I'd say you definitely got skills!
Thank you, they turned out pretty good
You're welcome. Praying for you all, Dragonfly2983.
Those look so good.
I’m curious how your electronics charge up
We have a generator thank God. There’s also my car!
You should check out PowerFilm solar. They have DOD contracts for portable solar.
Being without power will show you the holes in your preps.
BTW, if your phone battery is getting low, you can plug it into a charged laptop to get a charge.

what really help us the last time was the pilot driven propane oven we had but you show some skill with the grill
Looks great, very professional. You are talented and adaptable. Great job.
No doubt. Good lord, talk about devastation. Homestead looked like a bomb went off. In those scenarios it's hard to know where to even start to help.
Funny you should say that today :) a bomb or some kind of munition fell at Homestead today...
Whoa I just looked it up... that's crazy!
Wow, so it did...
