She's not a whistle blower.

She's an activist who is trying to make a name for herself by demanding governments censor things she doesn't like on the internet.

I don't have that believe though, it's clear she's not acting independently, but it's difficult to deny she is trying to seize on her new media darling status for herself (and those who support her).
