I have been using that answer for 2 years now!!

IT works, because normies and NPCs have no freeking idea whats really going on or what a control group even is.

It ESPECIALLY works for the mask-bouncers at the grocery store door. Just look at the level of sophistication their career has achieved. They will just stare at you like a turtle, and you just walk on by with a nod and a smile. "Im sorry, Im not allowed to ... Im in the control group for the vaccine clinical trials."

I’ve used the line too, it’s pretty funny to watch the NPC ‘s system reboot trying to process that one. I’ve learned a poker face to not laugh at them.
