I can’t figure Ducey out. His actions are at odds with each other (Arizonan here).

When he didn’t do anything about the obvious election fraud in AZ it appeared that he was a RINO. But since then, if I remember correctly, he signed some kind of voting integrity reform in AZ (and I believe Kemp did as well, in GA). And Trump has been supportive of both of these governors this year.

Since we now know that allowing the election to be stolen was the plan all along, I’m wondering if that’s why Ducey and Kemp stood back and let it happen in their states.

Same. He stands alone among governors of being a bizarre 50/50 mix of RINO and MAGA, which makes him unpredictable in key decisions. Looking forward, in light of his current freedom-leaning statements and decisions, he's not running for re-election so its not purely for personal optics. But looking backward he has checkered history not just as governor but any politician with a name change in the past is suspect in itself. shrug

Didn't AZ try and ban mandates before (urged on by their AG), but they failed to get the vote...so the AG said he'd try and get an assembly together before holiday break? I thought I read that somewhere. I don't know for sure...but at least it seems your AG is based.
