How can anyone interpret this person as a hero? A fool is a better description. How does his clown act fight against face masks? It only gives them power to further micro-manage those that are already worn on board an airplane. Flight Attendant:
"Hey, we actually had a guy who tried to wear a thong as a face mask. We don't recommend anyone not following our rules. We will enforce them, so make sure your're properly wearing your face mask. Violators will be kick off the plane."
See how this works? It only empowers them instead of getting them to doubt the ridiculous rule.

its not the fact that he was wearing a thong as a mask, its the fact that their own mask policy is a farse.
but - according to United's own rules - that should suffice as face coverings! I think we should treat them as stupidly as they treat us. Sorry - I would have done the same thing if I were flying!

Let's go along with your line of thinking to which was mentioned -- "according to United's own rules ...". And let's say flight attendants simply accepted the man wearing the thong on his face. Moreover, let's say other's started wearing thongs and other 'things' on their faces. All in accordance to "United's own rules".
But you know what? It's still a mandated face covering. There is no win here. How about simply not complying?

It as if a spell has been cast on people thinking this is somehow 'winning' when it only provides more 'justification' to enforce mask mandates. The ambiguity of issue defeats resistance because now the issue of obscenity is injected into the act. Not only is the mask mandate given cover, but it is provided more credibility because of the public obscenity.
The only way this type of mocking absurdity works is from a position of power. From the position of being oppressed and forced to comply is not being in a position of power. This person should have recognized this and instead was an absolute fool. He didn't win over anyone on the plane because the obscenity of it dominated everyone's outrage to it.
Wake up. He's mocking their stupid rules because they are stupid and should be mocked. How is that thong any less effective than 95%+ of the face diapers everyone else is wearing...??? The answer is its not any more or less effective. Its about dominance and forcing us to be submissive. He made fun of that. He did NOT submit. He mocked them instead. So they punished him.
In other words he PROVED its about submission... NOT public health. We need more of this.

I see the score as Tyranny = 1 and him = 0. It does nothing to advance our cause. In fact, it actually harms it by empowering them to dictate what constitutes a face mask. This only obfuscates the real issue of liberty and the right not to wear a face mask.

The cabal can't even get out of their own way. They themselves will spread this story far and wide... they will yell from the ramparts... SEE... those who mock us will be punished... and 10 more people join our side every time that story is played on CNN/MSNBC. This is an awakening... the game is not about winning or losing battles. That's the beauty of this plan. Each battle whether its won or lost shows the hearts and minds of the normies the truth.
The only way you lose is by not fighting. Which is exactly what you are suggesting. You are saying don't fight... because you might lose. But the only way you will lose is if we retreat into a hole and never fight thus no one ever sees the evil for what it really is.
Look at the January 6th detainees. You think they can't be pulled out of that hell? You think someone doesn't have the ability to fix that? They are their because the powers that be want everyone to see the horrors that await them once these lunatics have real power. And yes it sucks for them, but its impossible to win a war without some casualties. Its better to have that handful show the whole country the real truth than for tens or maybe hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of us to learn that lesson later the hard way.
This is EXACTLY the sort of fight we need. We need to mock them. And then when they punish us we need to mock their punishments too.

It would have been far more effective if he simply did not comply wearing a mask. Clowns like this undermine the movement. No bozos allowed. His little Andy Warhol moment of fame is going to cost him lots of legal costs. It was stupid and he may be charged with obscenity charges as well. So, the message was lost from the beginning.
