Australia needs Riccardo Bosi's and more people of his calibre. He is strong, loves his country, straight shooting and wants us all to come together and work as one country. He is our Aussie Trump. Help him make Australia Great Again.
Bosi is a brand all this own. Besides there is SO much that is dissimilar.
Bosi, no money. Bosi, military. Etc.
More importantly, while Americans naturally can unite around a single leader, like Washington, like Lincoln, Trump, etc, Aussies are far more egalitarian. While we have individuals who certainly 'lead' they way, its different. We don't do idol worship or 'father of the nation' level of attention like the Americans.
For example, there is really no Australian individual who garners the same level of adoration as Washington or Lincoln. The best we really come up with is the likes of Kelly. The rebel. The larrikin. The underdog fighting against crummy authorities who have done wrong.
If anything, I'd say Bosi is our modern day Peter Lalor.
When we win, we'll win as a collective. We'll appreciate those who point the way, and stand up, but its different from the US experience.

Hmmmm. "The Aussie Trump"
nah, I rebut that.

Well, in my opinion.
