I don't think elected officials should be polling the citizenry to figure out where they should stand on an issue. That's not a leader. They should have morals and principals which guide them. Not that someone's viewpoints can't change over time, but what role are they playing if they are just polling their constituents? At that point just put every issue on the ballot and have the voters decide. Then we're a democracy, which would not be a good thing.
If/when enough of the voters don't agree with her decisions then she'll most likely be voted out.
