Just saying...your main two points go with “I see” and “I feel”. So these are your opinions. I don’t see this at all. My opinion. And people makes mistakes. All of us do. We all sin. Just because he doesn’t handle himself as you would, doesn’t make him an antichrist. And I see him giving credit to our Lord and Savior. Literally saying publicly “I’m not the savior”, and references Jesus to the Savior. Name another public person recently who has done this. ESP one who is a billionaire, and in politics. I think Trump is ok. And just fine for a leader of this country.
Well yes. It’s my own opinion on how he behaves and how it is relative to Christ’s teachings.
I’m not saying he’s the antichrist lol. But it’s a far stretch to say he’s a man of God when he consistently and unapologetically acts the way that he does.
I appreciate that you think he’s “just fine.” When it comes to a leader, I’m looking for something more
I didn’t say he was “the” Antichrist. There’s a difference between big A, little a. Every man and woman is flawed. Everyone sins. Everyone makes mistakes. If you can’t accept a person for their flaws, then only Jesus can fill such a role. And until He comes back to reign as King of all nations, your stuck with imperfections. We, as a country, hire employees. Trump is a pretty dang good one.
I understand that everyone makes mistakes. There are also people who make conscious decisions that go against Christ's teachings. Trump has never once said that he made mistakes in his life, so I'm not inclined to believe he is someone who repents for his sins.
I'm not looking for a "good employee" to lead a nation. I'm looking for a leader, someone who inspires, and someone who brings a team forward. A man who constantly shits on others, who refuses to take accountability for his actions, is not that type of man to me.
So you want a monarchy? America is a republic. We install our leaders. Which work for us. They are our employees, or are suppose to be. If you want a leader, might need to look into places where communism reigns. And then hope for the best.
And if you don’t think “was” a good president, then I don’t know what good looks like. You may be in the wrong forums.
