From what I've come across, crypto is a way to get people put their money in something 'fake,' so they stop investing in real assets such as gold and land. It's pacifying the market because people aren't gobbling up gold and creating alarm.
Please explain how this is different from the central bank's U.S. dollar we use today
U.S. Dollar is a pretty broad category when you start speaking historically. Up until the post-Civil War period, the USD was worth it's weight in either silver or gold, and after silver was demonitized, the USD was still worth it's weight in gold until FDR banned private gold holdings in the mid '30s.
Just because the modern USD is all greenbacks, doesn't mean we can't go back to a gold/silver/bimetallic system post-Awakening. And if/when we do, it doesn't mean that the titular "U.S. Dollar" is no more, either.
currently the usd might as well be dogecoin.
Most successful people in crypto are diversified in other assets like gold, silver, real estate and stocks. They understand diversification and use their gains to buy tangible assets as well.
(Iām not talking about the 17 year old with $50 of Doge.)
