If he pardoned then no trial - no trial then no way to release the evidence in court , I strongly suspect Trump got Assange the executive suit at Belmarsh, all the calls for his release by controlled opo’ is to shut Assange down and returned to Australia with a plea deal in place so the evidence isn’t heard in court.

I've considered that, also if he had pardoned Assange while he was still overseas then someone else would have still extradited him as he's wanted by many.
