I believe there is sufficient case law for this type of incident that a precedent has been set so the case will get thrown out due to lack of merit and absolve the owner of the vehicle. The very idea that the owner of the van could be held liable is so ridiculous that only an intellectual (or a BLM member) could believe it.
oh hell no...the injustice system needs some (a lot) or repair work.........people are to much on the suee train.....no free rides
How about teaching your child right from wrong and the Ten Commandments, one of which is THOU SHALL NOT STEAL If someone left their home unlocked,is it their fault to that an ignoramus comes in the unlocked house and gets shot as an intruder who doesn’t obey a command to get out? The nerve and logic of the ignorant and irresponsible is amazing!
No no no! The family should have to pay the owner any damages his body did to the wheels, suspension or alignment as well as a "rental" fee.
I would definitely ask for emotional distress caused by the thought that my car was used to kill someone.
Yep, and then the parents should also be prosecuted for not teaching their kid a simple rule - "If it's not your's, don't take it."
Follow the money. Only the owner of the vehicle in this case has any that wasn't given to them by the government, via we the people.
