I still don’t have any direct reason to distrust Fidelity yet, and yes I’ve followed all of the GME drama over them and find it absurdly petty. They have been wonderful to work with and are incredibly easy to DRS through, and I have no reason to believe that shares in a cash account are being lent out through them. Not saying I would be surprised to find out if they were being shady, but I can’t say I’d trust another firm more simply because they called themselves a patriot alternative.
So I find DRS through a transfer agent is going to always be the best bet at security until something like Loopring revolutionizes it all by decentralizing the exchange in blockchain.
Nothing new here, but if you missed it last month, worth watching. My take: the Rockefeller fortune dissipated through foundations in the 1930's, reforming under Vanguard, Blackrock, and State Street.
Ah, part of the Sir Chowderhead cabal has joined the conversation. Don't forget to hit my downvote button, make me feel at home. You are right, I'm not part of the China luncheon crowd, I prefer my clams out of the shell; so Alex, New England for the win.
Thanks, I had the YT one bookmarked, added this one too.
We apes need a Vanguard/Fidelity patriot alternative. Then can move all our retirement funds over.

There is that Loopring advert again. Must be big in Loopring.
Yea, I am... you should look into it.

“Nothing new here”
What gave it away, the fact that the first thing in the title states that it’s a repost?
No, it was the poster, Sir Chowderhead.
Are you an adult?
I am fourteen eating you for lunch, any problems?
That’s quite the imagination
C'mon man, you're not China and you're not eating our lunch!

Sorry pal, I hit the up vote just to make you feel uncomfortable.
Merry Christmas!
