Had to look up "littoral" and found that this article was published a day ago: https://www.naval-technology.com/news/austal-delivers-15th-independence-lcs/ Interesting that this article speaks of variants: Freedom-class and the Independence-class. "Littoral" means shallow draft that can approach coastal waters.
