I dunno about supernatural beings, but AI could certainly be used to automate human malevolence. Using AI gives the bad actors plausible deniability for their evil because 'muh the machine did it'.
Case in point, big tech's content-'moderation' algorithms.
I would say, not unless written specifically that way. I believe that math is the language of God and ai is effectively written in math. Our thought processes have been mathematically modelled, we are mostly predictable.
That’s why they are trying again, they think they have us over a barrel. There is one major difference between a machine and a human. A machine cannot ignore math. Every decision it makes will be calculated without emotion, weighing every past variable.
A machine, in that regard can likely never have free will. It can’t comprehend the concept of throwing caution to the wind and sacrificing everything on an impossibly small possibility.
It is our free will that will save us from evil, the greatest gift God gave us.
I'll admit that possibility is not a bad idea. Some say aliens (greys, etc) are empty physical vessels, piloted by demonic entities. I don't know how true that is but I do know that aliens are demonic in nature. They operate the exact same ways, can do the exact same things and abductions/attacks stop when Christ is called for help.
It has been. This place has been under the monitoring and control of AI for thousands of years. The missing capstone? The "All seeing (A) Eye? Nothing new under the sun.

I've seen no instances of 'possessed' AI.
Well, literature indicates it's best not to give too much consideration to the idea. And if you see a Ouija board wired to your Uber, don't get in.
