It has been warm in the eastern US many times in the past. I can remember back in the 60s being able to play outside on Christmas day without a coat because it was so warm.
It's nothing new. People either aren't old enough to remember weather from the past, or they have CRS. I can remember. Plus I have copies of the weather records for my location from the day I was born, so I have it all documented.
