Zimmerman(n) is a normal very common German name, not a jewish one.

No. It's just a German name. There are a lot of German language jewish names, they often hint at the person's profession, this is not one of them. Zimmermann is a carpenter and as German as it gets.
Of course there are, at this point there are also Muslim Zimmermanns lol. Just saying it's not a Jewish name.
His granny probably married a German dude. But yeah, when that whole thing was going on, it kinda irritated me that his name was Zimmerman when he was clearly Latino.
His mother is from Peru, his father is of German descent. So it was his mother, not grandmother, who married a German dude.
