So in God’s promise to never flood the earth again, and giving us a rainbow to show his promise, did God also agree not to flood hell?! I hope not. I’m hoping this Storm is going to be so bad it surly does flood hell! I want it to wash out all the criminals, down into Satan’s sewers, and drown all of them, drown his flames, and drown out him and his evil forever!

Howls...now I want a "Crabby Patty"....
Serious question: have you ever made tuna paddies a.k.a. crabby patties? If not then you absolutely should because they are delicious in the summer months.
Boil some diced potatoes and mash them. Combine mashed canned chick-peas, lots of grated carrot, some peas and corn if you want, lots of ginger powder, garlic powder, vegetable stock powder, salt, pepper, coriander, cumin, black pepper and chili powder. Mash it altogether and fold in some canned tuna, form into paddies, coat in flour, egg wash and breadcrumbs and fry.
Use a LOT of ginger. Trust me because it just works!
They freeze perfectly and can be thawed and crisped up in the oven or fried again if you're not counting calories. Serve with salsa and green feta salad. Perfection!.
...that would beat the heck out of a "bread sandwich"...howls...

I think Shelby Steele has a great answer for this. Although he is speaking about government/corporate pandering to minorities, his explanation is that it is basically an easy way to be absolved of guilt.
Want to prove that you are not racist in spite of your past actions? Support affirmative action or some similar policy.
Want to show that you are not bigoted in spite of past actions? Use a rainbow during pride month/season.
I don't think that the use of the rainbow is not driven by evil as much as it is driven by a desire to compensate for and cover up for past indiscretions.
