Turn off the TV.
I gave up TV long ago.
I've felt doom from the election day till the last summer. But ever since then, so many things have happened where the mainstream was completely clueless and the only people who were in the know are here, that I am quite optimistic about the future.
The most important part for me, though, is seeing that the Deepstate has really no legislative power over the people and has completely failed at stopping the things mentioned above (you can read more at: https://slagfa.substack.com/p/the-wartime-presidency ).
