Looks more like augumented reality combined with pre-recorded visual effects shots. My guess is you wouldn't see any of this except maybe the fireworks if you were there in person. Really cool effects though.
I agree. There may have been some cuts back and forth to a real tower, but I don't even think Project Blue Beam is as good as that...and if it was, they certainly wouldn't display that full technology for everyone to see.
Yeah it definitely looks like some sort of augmentation. The fireworks might be real, but I think the rest of it is layered over the live footage (if it is live at all). Certain cutaways look like they were pre-recorded and edited (from inside the building, and from inside that car).
It's a really cool effect but my guess is that if you were there in person all you would see would be the fireworks, if anything.
LOL, Mario Kart sound effect at 2:20.
I noticed that Toad sound effect instantly.
I bet they hate writing "Beijing 2022" in English script and arabic numrals.
It’s frightening to see how they could use this technology to fool the masses, for example aluminum airplanes flying into a steel frame building.
I believe these are augmented graphics, so you would only see these on a TV screen, not in person.
Seattle had much the same stuff for its "televised" show, live show it was just traditional fireworks with random spot lights. Augmented Reality

To many planned cuts... CCP bull crap. IMO.
