They're not stupid, the common folk eat up every excuse they dish out. And then blame adverse effects on covid and many people STILL lap it up and blame us.

My point was they have apparently thought of every possible scenario and have a carefully constructed (bullshit) excuse for everything. Just frustrating considering how half the country will believe anything the TV tells them.
