We are all responsible for our decisions and I feel bad for them and their suffering grieves me.. I believe a more accurate analysis of this truth is how did they use His name before making that decision ?
I don't necessarily trust everything the Jews claim in the Old Testament, especially the stuff about their obsession with foreskins, Pagan blood magic (Leviticus 14), REMOSELESSLY slaughtering your entire family for the crime of not being Jewish enough (Deuteronomy 13:6-10), genociding entire nations for the crime of not being Jewish (Deuteronomy 13:13-17) and executing Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 13:1-6).
Whenever I speak with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, I have NEVER had the feeling They wanted me to remorselessly slaughter anyone, play with animal blood or mutilate the genitals of little children.
I think God sent Jesus Christ to stamp out the Judaism for a good reason: because the Jewish laws of Torah is a path to damnation rather than Salvation.
We both know I said nothing about throwing half the bible away, only that I have good reason not to trust Jewish scripture. I think the OT is an interesting and dangerous historic record of Jewish law and misguided culture, but it shouldn't be trusted because it is NOT the One True Path to Salvation.
Interesting how many Old Testament scriptures are referred to in the New Testament.. and not in disagreement!!
Luke 24:44 Jesus states He came to fulfill all that was written of Him in the law of Moses, And in the Prophets, and in the Psalms…… all RED LETTER… certainly doesn’t sound like He was calling it dangerous or misguided..
You can believe whatever you want, but this is direct contradiction to what Jesus Himself said:
Christ Came to Fulfill the Law
Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
I just rebutted this argument. The Old Covenant (a.k.a Judaism) was ended by God, irrespective of your feelings.
It doesn't matter how much you shake your head or stamp your feet, words have meanings and the Old Covenant was ended and replaced by the New Covenant a.k.a Jesus is the One True Path to Salvation.
No, it doesn't matter what your rabbi says about it either.
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
If God says that Judaism in the path to hell or if God says that all Americans are evil because of our government, then it's His call to make... irrespective of your hurt feelings.
God is clear about Jesus Christ being the One True Path to Salvation, even if you disagree. Even if you shake your head and stamp your feet.
I believe that Jews are God's chosen people because they are the most intolerably misguided and in need of divine correction. I believe Jews went on to become the most exiled people in human history because something is very, very, very wrong.
Nobody has ever been banned from 1,064 different gyms because of 1,064 coincidences.

That is exactly Paul' s argument in Hebrews and Galatians. Especially, Galatians is interesting.
5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
"I am " by it' s very nature is in the present. Paul wrote about it. As long as it can be called today, or present, we can enter Gods rest.
To be more precise, "I am" only exists in the now. From now to now is the same as from eternity to eternity.
Think about it, carefully. The now is the only place where you actually live. The 2 -5 seconds it took you to read this sentence is not now. what you are experiencing is the appearance of sequencing of the several nows in a row, as you can remember the last several nows and still play them in that sequence. Now is tiny.
Now is the only place where you face FACTS. All else is either, a mental projection from the past, or a mental projection into the future.
How to get there? Quiet your mind. Stop projecting, and observe the now without judgement.
In the now you will be in connection to the All. It indeed is a divine place. And only those who ready themselves, who are "clean" so to speak, or holy, can enter into this place.
From a quantum physical point of view, and a fractal point of view, when Jesus said: Gods kingdom is within you, it was not a conveyance of something new, or never heard of. Far from it.
Your point is well made and I agree.. The peace we either live in or reject is in the present yes, and we are to live in that peace .. but the present we speak as you stated is 2…3… 4 seconds now in the past.. The clock never stops … God says the tongue is the rudder.. the rudder doesn’t affect our current position but rather the destination !! It’s important we realize these two truths are not mutually exclusive..
Let's give this a try shall we. Lets put the words "Vaccine Free"
Yes! It works! but sadly not for 93% of the Aussies
We are all responsible for our decisions and I feel bad for them and their suffering grieves me.. I believe a more accurate analysis of this truth is how did they use His name before making that decision ?

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, not Moses.
Correct Jesus came to abolish the Law ( old T ) not saying to throw half the Bible away it’s imp for many reasons but we live under a New covenant
We both know I said nothing about throwing half the bible away, only that I have good reason not to trust Jewish scripture. Did I say you said throw it away ? Must have been half asleep ..apologies

We can both agree that Jesus didn't come to change a single dot or single jot of Moses' laws, but to permanently end them.
Judaism a.k.a the Old Covenant was ended by God.

So Jesus is the One True Path to Salvation but it doesnt matter what he says about a topic. got it.
Sounds perfectly logical and reasonable. Good luck with that when you face the Judgement Throne.
Matthew 5:17–18
Christ Came to Fulfill the Law
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Our Lord called the Jewish pharisees a DEN OF VIPERS.. are all Americans evil because so many in our American government are? Asking for a friend
God will pass judgement.
If God says that Judaism in the path to hell or if God says that all Americans are evil because of our government, then it's His call to make... irrespective of your hurt feelings.

To be or not to be that is the question.

I would recommend you to listen to a short interview with James Talbot. https://yewtu.be/watch?v=6rgYz_BU2Ew
As it will show you how close science and ancient spiritual traditions are.
