I think a cellular structure created by man on a genetic level, that is alive, that is it's own entity, an individual with locomotion that can now reproduce is a living robot.
In the Covid shot, they have found genetically modified Hydra parasites that can now live in the human body instead of freshwater where they are naturally found.
I think you and I have accumulated different information and have different perspectives, which is fine. Peace ✌️

They didn't do this though with the xenobots, they just stuck heart cells to skin cells in a certain pattern and the resulting blob moved in a certain way because of the differential strain between the cells because some contracted and some didn't.
I didn't see any evidence of genetic level manipulation. they used tweezers.

Maybe.

The xenobots are assembled by hand and can't reproduce in any way that preserves their structure as far as I can see. They would lose their structure.
I don't see how anyone can call this a new lifeform any more than grafting a tomato top onto a potato root can be called a new lifeform.
Now the 'rona as an engineered virus is truly an amazing feat of engineering. So is that nasty mRNA vax. They aren't new forms of life either though.
