People have to buck up and admit that their disappointments are the result of the expectations they created on their own. No one has ever provided us a timeline. This sounds like what we accuse the other side of... the blame game. Looking to hold someone else responsible for where we are in life/how we feel. We're supposed to be better than that
I agree with your assessment of how disappointment is generated, but I've understood that for nearly 30 years, haven't created any expectations, and yet I'm really tired of this mess. As such, I often remind myself that the Revolutionary War lasted 7 years, the CW 5 years, the Great Depression 10 years and WWII 6 years, and I'm sure all the people who lived through those experiences got tired of them, too.
I agree that it's frustrating. I get the frustration. I want it to hurry up and happen too. My point was only that no one has ever provided a timeline for us. No one. We make up the timelines and then blame orhers when our expectations aren't met. That's not healthy so I don't see the benefit in supporting it. Being popular is not my goal here
My (and your) activity and submissions are neither here nor there. I am not speaking "for" anyone. Nor is my reply personal in any way. I simply made a legitimate point about the point you were making.
The downvotess only prove that I've hit a nerve. Please think, don't just react. Don't get angry just because someone won't pat you on the head and say "there, there". C'mon people.
Don't agree with what exactly? That no one has provided an official timeline? That people set themselves up for disappointment when they create their own timelines? That it's easier to blame others than look in the mirror? Those are all irrefutable facts. I didn't offer an opinion to disagree with. Downvoting a fact because it makes you uncomfortable is what is nonsense.
I wasn't even rude about, just didn't walk on eggshells because I thought I was talking to adults . Yet look at you and the OP all twisted in knots. Good grief

I understood your point and was only offering some additional perspective.
Oh I know. No worries. I was just providing general clarification
lol and I look at your activity here and your submissions and then compare them to mine over the same amount of time and ask...
why the fuck are you speaking for US and this Board ?

You are right, but people for the most part are weak.

People are not ANGRY when they read your nonsense. They don't agree with it.
What a pathetic gaslighting attempt you made there.
