How is omicron being diagnosed? There is no lab test for it, is there? Are we going by common symptoms? How does one tell the difference between it and the common cold? Since we don't build immunity to the common cold, if you get it again does that mean it was NOT omicron?
For us anyway, we assume we all have the same thing because we came down with it at the same time (at the tail end of a busy vacation in a very crowded tourist location playing like there was nothing to fear but fear itself).. Why suspect Omicron? Because I'm an old broad and have had a cold too many times to count and have never had a cold like this. I had every single symptom not just a couple. Andthat headache? I've had migraines that were more tolerable than that. Nothing would relieve It even the slightest bit. It had me sobbing it was so bad.
Probably is a cold. Remember the PCR test can not differentiate between a cold, flu or Covid and variants. Gargle with mouthwash or better yet dilute food grade iodine rinse.

How did they confirm it was 'Omicron?' -- You literally have 100% chance of dying from anything other than 'Omicron'

Covid isn’t real. Your son in law is lying to you. Don’t believe everything you hear.
How about zinc, quercetin, vit C, D. That should be doable for you. Green tea is a substitute for quercetin if you need one.
Or you can try the new Benadryl and yogurt cure and report back to us.
