So pfizers "drug" is a protease inhibitor. Protease inhibitors are never reccomended for people that use statins and/or blood thinners.
Protease inhibitors can be used for people who have HIV to prevent AIDS. Also emerging to be an anti-viral and anti-bacterial and other things. For HIV, it's not a cure, it only works to suppress; it's a life long temporary "cure".
Just about all protease inhibitors end with -evir or -avir. I don't know whats in "Paxlovid". I'd be willing to bet something in it or something that needs to be taken with it will end in a -vir.
Some other potential side effects of protease inhibitors include
Ivermectin also acts as a protease inhibitor and has similar concerns especially for people on blood thinners.
Good luck trying to sell HIV treatment to Americans who don't have HIV.
