Fellow patriots,
I was the guy posting about selling everything I owned with my wife and 8 month old and escaping Ontario before the Chinadian goverment banned the pure-blooded from planes and the border in October.
We've laded safely and happily with some family here in AZ, bought and full time in a Class A RV, and are about midway through the 6 month grace period to visit. I'm looking into visas to stay and work/invest while doing some remote work leftover from home.
I thought maybe a contract job in sales or technology would be enough but a lot of H1 Visa jobs need a more professional degree (though I'm a self taught jack of all trades type)
I'm an entrepreneur and have my own successful business in Ontario but it was from home and my lawyer says it wouldn't qualify to try an L1 Visa to a US LLC due to it's size and mostly contract workers (production/livestreaming)
So after I extend my visitor visa another 6 months a few months from now I might need to go to the E2 Visa and start or buy a business. I need to own 50% or invest my own money (which I could attempt to do) either way I'm told it's around $100k.
Some patriot escapees buy car washes, salons, bakeries, gyms etc and turn them around/live on passive income.
Probably keen to keep it in AZ for awhile (I wanna attend the Florence rally!) but would be open to ideas in other based and free states.
No matter what happens, so glad to be out of Ontarino especially as it's been locked down for a FOURTH time due to Moronic, including closing all indoor dining and cancelling all ticketed events (including thousands in work I was doing remotely).
DM me if you can think of something and wanna meet/brainstorm
TLDR; Escaping Canadian Patriot wants to emigrate and buy/start a business and looking for opprotunites/connections/advice.
PS Will obviously vote for patriots and am on the People's and Patriots side through all of this.
Desert rat here Arizona native! Best friend growing up was Canadian, mom Canadian/dad American. They moved back after their house burned when we were little…still best friends and it breaks my heart to see what they are going through. She would love to move back to Arizona. We left Az for Kansas because we thought it was turning too purple just before covid, expensive and too much traffic, it’s been growing like crazy. Well I realize now, it’s more conservative than where I am and they were just cheating. We are far more restricted here in Kansas than they are in Arizona. Our schools are masked, Az isn’t or at least where my family is in the Valley and outskirts aren’t masking. Maybe it’s just my crazy ass county, one of the biggest in Kansas. I think having family close in your situation is good, if you have friends or family in other states take that into consideration. I don’t want you to give out personal info of course but my husband and I were born and raised. I know many many people and would like to try to help.
You come to US for protection and other benefits but no where do you mention becoming a US citizen. You are just looking to use us.
Obviously will become a citizen over time and support the Patriot movement.
You always hostile to friendlies?
So instead of staying and fighting for your own country you bailed. That is the cowards way. I live in Ontario its not that bad yes we are in lock down but you did not have to go to another country you just had to move north and get out of the cities. People running does not make the problem go away. Now you will be in a country where most laws are ignored. At least here in Canada you were fairly safe you cannot say that now.
Shitty comment!
Imagine thinking you're "safe" in a country mandating experimental medicine. "Most laws are ignored", what are you even talking about.
Canada is lost; how did you fight today?
You stay and watch it burn, I have people counting on me to read the terrain.
If you were an actual patriot you'd support their free choices you midwit
oh that's a good one, midwit. Was that a typo or is that something ya'll say?
Did you not hear what Trudeau said the other day? Op is wise to have gotten out early.
